The 2004 GT Shockwave Full Suspension electric scooter by Currie Technologies comes with all of the great features found on last year’s model plus an easy on/off seat kit and basket and a motorcycle style throttle. The seat kit and basket upgrade was a $59.95 option… now it’s standard! The GT Shockwave still offers its trademark full suspension system. Front suspension allows for 70mm of travel and a rear mono-shock swingarm suspension system offers an amazing 90mm travel. You’ll glide over rough terrain as if you’re riding on air. This scooter is safe, stable and comfortable at any speed. The 600 watt Electro Drive motor gives the F-18 outstanding power and torque. Expect super fast starts and incredible hill climbing ability. The downtube console allows for easy access to the on-off switch, power indicator light and charger port. Top-end speed is approximately 15 mph and the enhanced braking system insures safe, quick stops. The GT Shockwave is both weather and dust resistant. You can take it off-road through mud, dirt and grass. The electric motor is clean and quiet and the handlebars fold for easy transport and storage.
