Mother's day is celebrated on the 2nd Sunday of May. We dedicate this day to our mothers. We thank them for all their love and for their tremendous support. On mother's day we must make them feel that they are very special to us. The child remains stressful all the time. The mother or the motherly figure gives security that the child can seek shelter to her whenever the need arises. When the child is hurt or is frightened or is under some kind of stress, it is the mother who provides him/her with love, support and care.
Children who have not derived their mother's love are not happy. Their have to deal with a void in their hearts. The child requires his/her mother's love and support to become confident and complete individuals.
A strong bond with the mother boosts the child's self esteem. If they face a crisis they can quickly recover and fight back when they know that they have their mother's support.
Children love their mothers and do not like to share their mother's love with anyone else. Anyone else coming close to their mothers makes kids upset. This is the reason why siblings fight. If the mother is a single parent and gets involved in a relationship with a man, the child is affected.
